Can I select to travel by bus rather than train?

Yes, you can choose which mode of transport you would prefer to travel by when planning your journey.  Rather than using the ‘plan my journey’ box on the front page of our website, click on the ‘plan my journey’ tab along the top bar of the home page.  This will take you to a more detailed information page where you can select transport modes.

If you decide that you want to change the mode of transport once you have got your journey results, click on the ‘alter journey’ button.   If you do not select a particular mode when planning your journey, our journey planner will provide the quickest route for you whether it be by bus, coach, train or multi-modal travel.
